Philipson Builders Limited was founded in April 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya, with a clear vision: to deliver world-class construction and civil engineering services built on integrity, innovation, and a strong foundation.

Starting as a focused general contractor, we quickly expanded our capabilities to include road works, aggregates crushing, road rehabilitation, concrete structures, infrastructure projects, and specialized airport works. As an employee-owned company, we foster a culture of accountability, pride, and excellence — every team member is invested in the success of every project.

Today, Philipson Builders Limited is recognized across Kenya for our commitment to quality, safety, timeliness, and client satisfaction. Philipson Builders Limited periodically evaluates its existing staff / labor. Promotion process is based on the results of periodic performance evaluation of its staff / labor performance. Philipson Builders Limited believes promotion is a good business practice and it has been a powerful labor motivator tool. Internal promotion policies have generated remarkable results through the recognition of individual merit and improved morale of task force.

Philipson Builders Limited invests considerably in training. The annual appraisal of employees enables the management to identify the individual requirements of training. All department managers mandatorily establish a training plan and get the plan approved.

Training Programmes

Philipson Builders Limited training programs are critical to good performance. Philipson Builders periodically evaluating its approach to ensure what is offered is both immediately useful to the employee and applicable in the working environment to the measurable advantage of the business.

The trainee work performance is periodically evaluated by their immediate managers / supervisors and recorded in the annual appraisal forms. Below mentioned are the criteria for evaluation: Increase Productivity, Quality of the output, Rejections, Complaints, Suggestions.

Labour Satisfaction Surveys

Labor satisfaction surveys are conducted to measure and understand the labor force attitude, opinions, motivation, and satisfaction. The feedback is very beneficial to formulate the labor strategies. This feedback assists Philipson Builders Limited Top Management in designing new strategies for labor satisfaction. Acts as a mechanism to keep Philipson Builders Limited informed which policy is not in the favor of the labor and their consequences. Provides management of Philipson Builders Limited with feedback (both positive and negative) on the internal health of the organization. Measures the impact of current programs, policies and procedures. Is used to motivate labor and improve job satisfaction.
